28.03.24 Tonight was a big night for Birkenhead. Green councillors voted for a flagship market for Birkenhead, refurbishing the existing site. Labour and Tory councillors voted together to squash the market into the former Argos store, under a car park. Birkenhead Market traders and Cllrs Jo Bird, Pat Cleary and Ewan Tomenay say NO to Argos.
